Dr. Jonathan Leung is a board-certified internal medicine physician who is fellowship trained in sports medicine. He obtained his medical degree at Sidney Kimmel Medical College and completed his residency at Temple University Hospital. Following this, he practiced at Montefiore Medical Center as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine. Inspired by a desire to expand the care he provided to his patients, he then completed his fellowship at John Peter Smith where he assisted with the care of athletes at Texas Christian University.
Dr. Leung specializes in the evaluation and non-operative treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, ranging from sports injuries to chronic back and joint pain. Above all, he believes in compassionate care and that each patient deserves an individualized and comprehensive approach to their treatment, be it therapeutic exercise, medications or ultrasound and fluoroscopic guided interventions.
In his free time, Dr. Leung enjoys spending time with his wife and living an active lifestyle. He is an avid runner and rock climber, and has published multiple articles on climbing injuries.
